UPDATED REVIEW:
This new version just seemed to shuffle things around and did not really improve on much. It did add carb and activity summaries at the top and a few other small enhancements. Sadly, I had to take away a star because of the lack of a real big improvement, especially for something touted in the notes as being a major versioning. Hopefully they will get on the ball. They need some serious analysis of functionality and UI/UX. I am still hopeful and think this app has a lot of potential. Hopefully Ill be raising the stars again soon.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Hoping to see some real evaluation of the included features and the UI in the future. Things are still rough here and there (Im sure I am more critical than some users) but I see some real promise in this app.
In addition to UI refinements and usability enhancements, more data points would be helpful. Encourage tracking of height, weight, sleep, water intake, etc. Take a look at what Lark, MySugr, and Prevent are doing.
Personally, my biggest functionality gripes would be the inability to add a food that is not in the list and the fact that there is no daily tally of carbs, meds, activity, etc.
Please, be careful with how you decide to start charging in the future. I am sure it is coming so I hope that you will think long and hard about a fair strategy and your competition before jumping into a pricing plan.
